Pichu is a procedure done in places where retaining of oil is needed. Site of pichu is selected according to the cause and site of the pain.A cotton piece soaked with oil is applied on the site for a period of time upto one hour.Special medicated oil is selected according to site and cause of illness.According to the site where they applied, they are named as katee pichu, siro pichu, greeva pichu etc. Pichu is very effective in Katee graha(Low Back Pain), Greeva graha(Cervical Spondylosis), Gridrasi(Sciatica) etc.
