NJAVARATHEPPU:
This is a special type of treatment prevalent in Malabar (northern Kerala)for the diseases of the nervous system.In this procedure the whole body or any particular part, is made to perspire by means of the application of a kind of Payasa or Pudding, specially prepared for the purpose with the Njavara rice ,milk and decoction of Bala(sida rhombifolia).
The procedure is similar to the Njavarakizhi except that the application of pudding id done directly here where as boluses are used in case of the latter
Course of Treatment :- 7/14/21 days
